Prices are rare. Only UK CBAM Checker, Oremly and CBAMable publish one, and of those only UK CBAM Checker prices doing the work for you. Most services ask you to book a call.
Everyone is new. Most of these domains were registered in 2026, and none of the sites shows a named customer review. That’s expected for a tax that starts on 1 January 2027, but it means there’s no track record to compare yet.
Nobody offers UK verification. None of the pages we read offers accredited verification of a supplier’s emissions for the UK CBAM, which you need if you want to use actual data instead of HMRC’s default values.
It depends on the job. For a free check of whether your goods are in scope and what they’d cost, several sites have a checker, this one included. For collecting supplier data and preparing the return, Oremly publishes a price (£149 a month from January 2027); most others price on a call. Every one listed here launched its UK CBAM service in 2024 to 2026, and none shows a named customer review (read 8 November 2026).
A tax agent can send your CBAM returns, though it can’t register for you and the liability stays yours. Meridian Trade Advisory says it prepares returns as a CBAM agent, and UK CBAM Checker sells a “done for you” service; CBAMable says it isn’t a filing portal.
Not necessarily. If you use HMRC’s default values, the charge is the default value times the weight times the rate, which a spreadsheet can do. Software earns its keep when you collect verified data from many suppliers, keep the records for each import, or import across many codes.
